Description
When I took this picture, I had Elton John's song "Candle in the Wind" stuck in my head. I was trying to go for that same sad, wistful look, to make her look a little more special.
This photoshoot was in preparation for the Pullip Fabulous photo contest. The theme was "Retro." We were told to shoot in black and white or sepia, to make the picture look vintage.
Doll: Nina by Jun Planning, stock hair/makeup/body
Clothing: Marilyn-Monroe-style dress swiped from a dollar-store Barbie knockoff.
Background: A fuzzy baby blanket rolled and folded to look like a couch, and a black velvet skirt behind that. If you can't tell, that black thing next to her is actually a very dark red rose.
